Dignity was recently recognized by Governor Herbert for our outstanding efforts in bringing awareness to Elder Abuse & Neglect. On July 7th, we were invited to the Governor's Office for an official signing of our Declaration and to be acknowledged for the success of our 2nd Annual Elder Abuse Prevention Summit.
Governor Herbert extended a special thank you for the important work that we do here at Dignity, in caring for the Elderly and very ill in Utah and he asked that we pass that on. He was genuinely appreciative and stated, "We will all be elderly someday, and will want exceptional care, it is our duty to treat people the way we want to be treated when we are in need."
We are proud of this recognition and the important role we each play in recognizing and preventing abuse and neglect.
