Adult care is a program for those who need additional assistance in
their homes or in facilities.
Our goal is to provide compassionate care, to preserve and maintain
quality of life; while facilitating our client to remain in their
own home, among their treasured belongings, where their surroundings
are familiar. We strive to provide our client with Dignity and give
them and their loved ones peace of mind, when such decisions must
be made. We seek to support family, so that “caregiver burnout”
does not occur. Providing care in the home lends an alternative
to a nursing home or assisted living, while avoiding loss of independence.
We will match the client to appropriate caregivers, who will assist
our client in daily living activities that they would normally do
for themselves:
- Hourly or live-in service
- Companionship
- Bathing and dressing assistance
- Assistance with toileting and incontinence
- Walking and transferring
- Meal planning, preparation and assistance
- Providing for dietary restrictions
- Grocery shopping
- Light housekeeping
- Transportation and assistance to appointments or activities
- Medication reminders
